Sizing Up Salaries Inside Franchisers.

The article reports on the results of a 2008 survey by FranData Inc. about managerial salary at franchisers in the U.S. The managerial jobs in the full-service restaurant industry had the highest salary, while the lowest-paying jobs were in retail products and services. It was also found that managers in food-related franchises in general tend to receive more than those in other fields and this is attributed to the more complex nature of food-handling businesses.
