Abstract
- Hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) correlated with HBV infection is the 2nd cancerous death cause, after smoking. HBV increases HCC risk 200 times. Hepatocellular carcinoma associated with hepatic cirrhosis appears with an annual risk of 2-5%, but the HBV infected persons may also evolve towards HCC with an anual risk of 0,5%. (47, 48) Extrahepatic chronic diseases associated with HBV and HCV infection belong mainly to the autoimmune diseases and chronic lymphoproliferative syndromes. HBV infection prevalence to the patients with malignant non-Hodgkinian lymphoma (MNHL) ranges between 3-30%. HCV infection prevalence in patients with NHML B cell or other cronical limfoprolifertions ranges between 8-32%. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
