Abstract
- The article discusses the November 2008 relaunch in a beta version of the technical web portal Vascoda, sponsored by the German government. The portal is dedicated to serving inquiries dealing with international relations and regional geography, particularly post-1945. The portal is known as IREON (International RElations and area studies ONline) and is open to the public. The content and functions of the portal are reviewed.
