Abstract

Distance Learning requires a transmission system and teaching strategies appropriate to the different technologies used. The didactic strategy of distance learning means choosing methods and structured instructional means to produce effective learning. The objective of this paper is to present reflections on distance learning and information and communication technology (ICT) in education, as well as provide an exploratory research to better define the problem, to improve the understanding of distance learning and the use of ICT's. In the exploratory research, with nonprobability sampling, data were obtained through a semi-structured questionnaire, developed electronically. Distance learning provides individuals with training and re-training. However, it is necessary to create conditions to improve communication between students, students and tutors, and students and teachers in the learning environment as demonstrated in table 3, and the media, as demonstrated in Table 4.
