Abstract

The article explores the role of pelvic ultrasound variables in discriminating between normal girls and girls with different forms of sexual precocity. It also aims to establish cut-off limits of pelvic ultrasound measurements for differentiating between these conditions. Results reveal that ultrasound examination of the uterus and ovaries could be a complementary tool to diagnose central precocious puberty and for the early initiation of appropriate treatment.
