Abstract: The article reports on the country of Great Britain's health care system and its attention given to hearing care. The country's National Health Service funds the Adult Hearing Service (AHS) and the Children's Hearing Service (CHS) which provides more than 600,000 hearing aids to half a million people, according to the article. The services offered by the AHS and the CHS are explored. The audiology professionals who provide these services and the wait times for digital hearing aids are discussed.
