Abstract

Tests the hypothesis that the activation of sodium-potassium-adenosine triphosphatase by carbon dioxide requires a basolateral barium-sensitive pathway during potassium restriction in rabbits. Comparison of exposure to carbon dioxide in potassium-replete and potassium-restricted rabbits; Magnitude of stimulation of total carbon dioxide flux.
