Transformación de Plantas de Tomate Verde (Physalis ixocarpa Brot. var. rendidora) con el Gen oc-I (Orizacistatina I).

The article offers information on the transformation of green tomato or the physalis ixocarpa var. rendidora genome plants. It examines a rapid Agrobacterium tumefaciens-mediated transformation system of green tomato. Leaf explants were inoculated with A. tumefaciens strain EHA-R 105 harboring the vector pCAMBIA. Transgenic plants were regenerated to leaf explants. The process revealed that one line of four transgenic lines was morphologically normal. The four transgenic lines showed different levels of papain inhibition.
