Abstract

Discusses the results of an observational study of mortality rates among male joggers aged 20-79 in Copenhagen, Denmark. Trends in jogging habits among participants during a five-year period; Use of a Cox proportional hazards regression model in the analysis of the association between jogging and risk of death; Conclusion that regular jogging is not related to increased mortality in men.
