Abstract
- An interview with chef Ferran Adriá of El Bulli restaurant is presented. Adriá believes that his creativity has everything to do with the economic situation in Spain because he had understood early that haute cuisine is impossible as a business. He says that his lack of a formal education is an advantage for him as it had forced him to be curious about everything. When asked if he is afraid of not being on top, he claims that he is not because he had books to be proud of.
