Abstract
- Calculates the effect of a spatially dependent effective mass in a finite GaAs/Al[sub x]Ga[sub 1-x]As parabolic quantum well with a magnetic field on hydrogenic impurity ground state binding energies and lowly excited state. Comparison of the results with square quantum wells and without the effect of spatially dependent effective mass result.
