Abstract

This work presents the temperature dependence of the dielectric properties of two types of epoxy mica insulation systems. Polarization and depolarization currents, insulation resistance, capacitance and polarization index were measured over a temperature range of 20 to 100 °C on whole rotating machine stator bars. An analytical relationship of the correction of the resistance as a function of temperature was derived from the experimental results. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
