THE MUSIC ARCHIVE AND LIBRARY AT THE REAL COLEGIO-SEMINARIO DE CORPUS CHRISTI (VALENCIA).

The music collection of the Real Colegio-Seminario de Corpus Christi (Valencia) (RCCC) is the largest in the region of Valencia. As part of a region-wide cataloguing project the holdings of the RCCC are being systematically catalogued and preserved. The music holdings are largely religious, but also include significant donations of historical treatises and correspondence from noted Spanish musicians and musicologists. This project is the beginning of a region-wide project of recovery, cataloging, and dissemination of its musical heritage at other public and private institutions. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
