Abstract

Technology has become an integral part of today's teaching and learning process. Regardless of the growing expectations of integrating technology in education, many barriers have been identified by the literature hindering teachers from teaching with technology. The purpose of this paper is to review the factors to be considered when integrating technology into classroom and how PowerPoint may readily answer the needs of schools as it pertains to integrating technology in the classroom. In addition to reviewing the advantages and disadvantages of PowerPoint, the paper will discuss how PowerPoint can be used for different learning styles in class. Based on literature, students' learning with PowerPoint will be reviewed and the design tips will be provided also at the end. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
