Abstract

The article discusses the study regarding the stability of Earth's climate. Earth is the only water-world in the solar system that managed to maintain its oceans unlike Mars and Venus due to the interplay between plate tectonics, carbon dioxide and the oceans. It mentions that the moon also plays an additional role in keeping the climate habitable by damping wobbles that would cause the Earth's axis to tilt wildly.
