- Investigates the factors affecting the salience of temporal cues in the discrimination of Japanese macaque smooth early and smooth late high coo calls. Difference between original calls and calls temporally reversed in the frequency domain; Reaction of macaques to amplitude increments; Response of macaques to different amount of frequency modulation.
