Abstract
- The article focuses on the use of stimulants to treat adults with attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD). It states that U.S. Food and Drug Administration approved long-acting stimulants such as Adderall and Concerta to ADHD patients to provide a daily dose in controlling the symptoms and avoiding the need to repeat the dose. However, it also states that several side effects may be commonly experienced by patients including headache, insomnia and agitation.
