Abstract
- The article looks at a six ton machine that walks on eight legs, called the Walking Beast, designed by Martin Montesano. The Beast took 3 years, cost $50,000 and is powered by a Chevy V8 engine. Montesano, who was inspired by walking machines like those in "The Empire Strikes Back," found the formula to determine how to make eight-legs connect and walk properly online.
