Abstract

The article features the Highclere Castle in Berkshire, England. The castle resembles the Houses of Parliament and first-time visitors can think that the building is magically transferred to a lovely part of the countryside. It states that the castle is designed out of an Italic Gothic architecture by Sir Charles Barry, a Victorian architect. According to Lord Carnarvon, the owner of the castle, the central tower is not part of the plan but his ancestor wants to make the mansion more grand.
