Papers in this week's Veterinary.

The article presents papers related to veterinary medicine in Great Britain. A study on the field transmission of bluetongue virus serotype 8 (BTV-8) reveals that vector transmission was unlikely due to low temperatures and the absence of parous Culicoides midges. Another study on inhalation agents for anaesthesia of sheep shows that there were no differences between the physical and cardiopulmonary parameters. The effect of thiamine deficiency in juvenile captive goshawks is also presented.
