Abstract
- The article reports that Great Britain Member of the Parliament Ann Keen has been impressed to the ideas of optometrist Kanwaldeep Koonar regarding the improvement of eye care. Koonar has suggested the implementation of better sight tests for drivers and optometrists who have been paid for diabetic screening. He also cites the possibility of the free up of surgeons' time and decrease footfall in hospitals when the optometrists will be paid for screening eye disease.
