Abstract

The article focuses on the study on sea turtles conducted by Scott Whiting of Biomarine International in Australia. It attempts to determine whether all sea turtles are up to undertaking epic migrations. Through the use of a satellite tracking in studying sea turtles, Whiting was able to prove that these turtles swam only about 35 kilometers, which is not that far from their nesting site. Such shorter migration could allegedly reduce the females' stress and thus can produce more turtles.
