Abstract
- The article discusses the distinction between good and bad popular music. It says that the distinction rests in the music's lyrics and the visuals linked to particular performers. It tells that the music video of Madonna for the song "Like a Prayer" was banned because it shows disrespect toward religion. Other forms of badness in music are the depictions of glaring violence and unconventional or frank discussions of sex. It also lays the similarity of horror genre in shock rock and gangster rap.
