Abstract

The article offers information on the attributes of the manuscript made by Willem ten Rhyne's "SCHEDIASMA DE PROMONTORIO BONAE SPEI" in South Africa. The art object is bound and on the inside of the front cover. The chapters of the manuscripts are numbered with Arabic numerals and with a broad margin of 4.5 centimeters allowing the readers to have numerous marginal notes. Majority of the body of the text is written in Latin script and also include Dutch words such as personal and geographic names, French, Portuguese and Khoekhoe words and phrases.
