Abstract

The article focuses on the workplace phenomenon called "Munchausen at work" where employees quietly cause problems so they can later take credit for fixing them. According to the article, some employees would even hold help or key information, then step in to save the day. This type of behavior is common among business executives with named successors but do not like to cede control.
