EU External Policy-Making and The Case of Morocco: 'Realistically' Dealing with Authoritarianism?

The article discusses the normative nature of the European Union's (EU) policies. It also states that a realist interpretation of the EU's external policies adds to better understanding of its accomplishments in other countries. An analysis of the EU's relationship with the state of Morocco which shows that realist concerns dominate EU's preoccupations.
