Abstract

The article examines on the globalization of cultures in the Central Asian republics. It argues on the concept of modernism as the driving force behind the public culture in Uzbekistan which has taken resemblance that the country has came across in Central Asia or in North America, hence, it notes on understanding how global cultural forms affects their culture's universalism. Moreover, it examines on how the performing arts in Central Asia are globalized during the 20th century in the Soviet Union to which they adopted international cultural forms as their symbolic communication. Further studies on the aspect of globalization is suggested.
