Abstract
- The article highlights upgrade developments of Russian infantry fighting vehicles (IFVs) worldwide. Russia has been the first country to introduce the modern IFVs, which were called Boyevaya Mashina Pekhoty (BMP)-1. Moreover, Poland has the biggest number of BMP-1s, which were designated BWP-1s. In the Czech Republic, upgrades for BMP-1s were also launched and were designated OT-90.
