Abstract

The article reports on the decline of homeopathic prescriptions in Great Britain. It references an article published in the July 24, 2008 issue of "The Times." According to the article, family doctors are writing fewer prescriptions for homeopathy than they were 2 years ago. The number declined from 83,000 in 2005 to 49,300 in 2007. It suggests that the decline indicate that doctors are avoiding homeopathic remedies due to lack of evidence that they are effective.
