Abstract
- The article focuses on the study which examines the effectiveness of Allergan Inc.'s Optive in the treatment of dry eye disease. During the 2008 World Ophthalmology Congress, Rajesh K. Rajpal explains that Optive, with its carboxymethylcellulose, glycerin and a preservative, is more applicable to patients with dry eye disease. When administered to these patients, the study reveals that they have shown significant improvements in objective measures of dry eye disease.
