- Roger Clemens asked a United States judge to let a Texas jury decide if his former trainer slandered him with accusations that he used performance-enhancing drugs. In court papers filed after hours Thursday in Houston, Clemens urged United States District Judge Keith Ellison to reject the trainer Brian McNamee's motion to either throw out the defamation case or try it in New York.
