Response to “Discussion Note on Paper 'A Wavelet Network Model for Short-Term Traffic Volume Forecasting”'.

The article discusses the major differences in articles which investigated the application of wavelet networks in traffic volume forecasting. First is the focus of research on the use of wavelet networks for the prediction of short-term traffic flow data. Second, the wavelet networks are different. Third, the performance of wavelet networks is compared with the performance of popular neural network models.
