Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the types of publications produced by the Professors of Curriculum (POC) between 1996 and 2006. Publications were analyzed to determine the number of articles that were evidence-based (data-driven), in refereed or non-refereed journals, and their major descriptors. The majority of the POC's 513 publications appeared in refereed journals, however, only 26% of the publications across all journals were data-driven. Professors of Curriculum writings failed to meet the current national expectations for evidence-based research. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
