Abstract

The article offers fellowships and prizes on scholars and essays with significant contribution to anthropology in Great Britain. The Radcliffe-Brown Memorial Fund for Social Anthropological Research, jointly funded by the Association of Social Anthropologists (ASA) and the Royal Anthropological Institute (RAI) grants young British scholars in social anthropology in completion of their embarked on research. The RAI is now accepting applications and nominations for the Wellcome Medal for Research in Anthropology as applied to medical problems, with a prize of £600 for the best published work which make a significant contribution to anthropological research. The RAI is now accepting entries for the 2008 Curl Essay Prize with an award of £1,100.
