Abstract
- The article reports on results of a study of scaling techniques for deriving carotid artery pressures from diameter distension waveforms. A description of the experimental set-up and measurement method is presented. The study concluded that properly calibrated diameter waveforms offer a viable alternative for local pressure estimation at the carotid artery.
