Abstract: This article examines a growing tourism industry in Cambodia and the economic impact this is having on the developing nation. Comments are included from Joseph Mussomeli, the U.S. ambassador to Cambodia. Environmental concerns related to the country's speedy development, including unsustainable fishing practices and illegal logging, are discussed.
