Abstract
- In this article the author examines issues surrounding nationalism and national identity. He discusses semantic aspects of the Chinese occupation of the country of Tibet. Also under discussion are the alien inhabitants of the Baltic republics of Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania and English citizens resident in Scotland.
