Abstract: The article presents a case study of a 57-year-old woman who was noted on ultrasound to have an 8.0 cm splenic mass. Poorly resolving left flank discomfort one year later prompted further evaluation by computed tomography. Liver enzymes including alanine aminotransferase, aspartate aminotransferase and alkaline phosphatase as well as lipase were also within normal limits.
