Abstract

Deals with a study which reported that the antibody 1C2 and the chemical compounds Congo red, thioflavine S, chrysamine G and Direct fast yellow suppress the in vitro aggregation of Huntington's disease (HD) exon 1 protein. Inhibition of Huntington fibrillogenesis by antibodies; Inhibition of Huntingtin aggregation by small molecules and cell culture systems.
