La santé mentale globale de l’enfant : répondre aux besoins présents et futurs

Abstract: Understanding the magnitude of the burden of child and adolescent mental disorders is a challenge. Lack of data, lack of understanding, and stigma detract from gaining a true picture of the consequences for the individual and society of child mental illness. New initiatives are attempting to gain more objective data, place the data in a context that appreciates culture and degree of impairment. The World Health Organization along with professional societies has taken up the task of fostering dissemination of new data and newer knowledge about treatment. [Copyright &y& Elsevier]
