Abstract
- The article reports on the large amount of high-profile scandals in Canada's health care system which involves deceptive medicine laboratory. This incident may serve as a wake up call for the government, wherein both the Canadian Association of Pathologists and the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada believe that inadequate investment had resulted to this scandal. This incidents involving incomplete work by the pathologist, which is regrettable situation according to Dr. Jagdish Butany president of CAP, prompting retesting in more than 60,000 cases that ramps in Newfoundland, New Brunswick, Ontario and Manitoba. The article also presents the medical laboratories that undergone review for standardization including the Miramichi Regional Health Authority in New Brunswick.
