Kenya Forming Group to Create IT Standards.

The article reports that the Kenya Bureau of Standards is calling on technology experts in the country to join in the effort to develop national information technology standards. According to Zacheus Mwatha, manager at the standards bureau, the bureau plans to form a committee to collect and analyze information and then draft relevant standards. The standards will likely cover areas such as telecommunications, information technology security and data formats. Future plans of all committee members are also cited.
