Abstract
- The author claims that managers follow fashions, whether in the clothes they wear, the books they read or the foods they eat. He points out that business management is prone to fashions and managers enjoy the satisfaction of being leading edge. He believes that conformity is the antithesis of inspiring leadership and it is the enemy of innovation and free spirit.
