Abstract

The article discusses the policies of U.S. presidential candidates Republican John McCain and Democrat Barack Obama on lobbyists. It explains that from a public relations (PR) perspective, while McCain's policies are more rigid, Obama is ahead because he set his rules in place from the beginning of his campaign. Another advantage for Obama is that he does not allow lobbyists to raise funds for his campaign while McCain welcomes lobbyists as fund-raisers.
