Abstract

The article reports on Africa's big role in the establishment of earliest Christianity. It discusses that the Anglican inheritance is conceived through the experience of the Yoruba people in south-west Nigeria where Christian religion came to the rest of Nigeria. It infers that the Anglicanism which came to the Yoruba was evangelical through the Church Missionary Society.
