Borges y el acto poético: Los pliegues del silencio.

A literary criticism of the poetry of Argentine author Jorge Luís Borges is presented. It considers the literary influence of the Spanish Ultraist movement and its emphasis on metaphor, discusses Borges' use of poetic variation and the importance of archetypical experiences, and comments on his depiction of time, silence and repetition.
