Abstract: The article discusses the highlights of the art and Cartier jewelry exhibition held on May 15, 2008 in Bel Air, California. Several philanthropists and art enthusiasts attended the gathering held in the private home of Carla Sands, wife of realty mogul Fred Sands. The guests, which included 44 bejeweled women, were chosen jointly by Mrs. Sands and Cartier. Andrew Bolton of the Metropolitan Museum of Arts, who brought a 51-carat diamond and other priceless jewelry, also attended the event.
