Abstract

Discusses the generation of mutants of Pseudomonas putida lacking manganese-superoxide dismutase, iron-superoxide dismutase (SOD) or both to investigate the role of superoxide dismutases in root colonization and oxidative stress. Sensitivity of mutants than wild type to oxidative stress; Factors that cause the impaired growth of SOD mutants.
