THE VOCATIONAL MODEL OF CONFIRMATION.

The article discusses the vocational model of confirmation among youth in the Slovak Lutheran Church in Slovakia. It states that confirmation refers to the practice in which confirmands renew their baptismal vow and accepts the grace of God. It reveals that confirmation focuses on goals of ownership, membership and citizenship and is guided through practical theological reflection. It shows that confirmation help address the needs of the people in matters of faith.
