Abstract
- This section offers news briefs related to flute club and flute choir activities in the U.S. as of May 2008. The Arizona Flute Society has held its annual flute festival and competition, recital and masterclass within the state. The 32nd annual Florida Flute Fair of the Florida Flute Association was held at the Orlando/Altamonte Springs Hilton Hotel. The Cherished Treasures, Signed and Sold benefit event of Jeanne Baxtresser for the Pittsburgh Flute Club held in Pennsylvania was attended by several flutists.
